William Stanley Poss, Jr.

William Stanley Poss, Jr., 37, passed away on January 16, 2025 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson after a long illness. Born on December 3, 1987 in Amory, he was a son to Williams Stanley, Sr. and Sue Reese Poss.  He lived and worked in Amory all of his life.

A memorial service, jointly held with his mother’s, will be on 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory.

Survivors include his father, William Stanly Poss, Sr. (Kathy) of Pensacola; his daughter, Salem Thompson; sister, Ladonna Reese Howe; friends, Cindy Johnson and Aaron Hester, both of Amory; his grandparents, Robert Earl and Lillian Myrl Stevens Reese; his aunt, Sheila Howard; along with a host of other friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Sue Poss.
