Tommy Curry

William Tommy Curry, 81, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at his home in Amory.  Tommy was born on April 12, 1042 in Nettleton to George Alexander and Eva Conwill Curry.  He attended Amory schools and later played football at Itawamba Junior College.  He was married to the former Dorothy Anne Black and lived in Canton, Michigan for many years.  A longtime employee of TNT EDM, Inc., he was a tool and die maker.   After his retirement, he and his wife moved back to Amory in 2010 where they made their home.  He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Curry of Amory; son, Chris Curry and his wife, Tiffany of South Lyon, MI; one brother, G.A. Curry (Debbie) of Fulton; one sister, Brenda Ratliff of Tupelo; and two grandchildren, Pierson and Eliana Curry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Hazel Morris; and son, Thomas Chadwick Curry.
