Tommy Dewayne Armstrong, 58, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Franklin, OH. He was born on February 3, 1964 in Aberdeen to Jim Coleman, Jr. and Mae Dodd Armstrong. Tommy grew up in the Athens-Quincy Community and for many years, he worked in the landscape business before becoming an OTR trucker, which he loved. He was driving for Royal Trucking in West Point and was an avid conversationalist. Tommy enjoyed attending concerts and was a staunch MSU and Oakland Raiders fan. He had a heart as big as Texas and he loved his animals.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.
He is survived by his two sons, Randy Armstrong, and Tony Armstrong (Amanda Burks) both of Southaven; brothers, Paul Armstrong, Brad Robertson and Dale Robertson, Terry Robertson, and Bobby Armstrong; his sisters, Shirley Armstrong, Debra Suddith, Kay Harbin, Amanda Brown, and Missy Robertson; and step granddaughter, Makayla Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Angie Armstrong.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday from 1 until service time at the funeral home.
