Tina Sykes

Tina Denise Sykes, 57, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at her home in Guin, AL.  She was born on May 19, 1966 in Tupelo, MS to Marshall Sykes and Joyce White.  She grew up in Lee County and she was a homemaker.  She was a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and she enjoyed, crocheting, cooking, but especially spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Grace Fellowship Cemetery.  Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m.

She is survived by son, Nathan Edge of Guntown; daughter, Jacinta Sykes (Melissa) of Hackelburg; 4 brothers, Allen Myhand (Anita), Ronnie Bean (Joyce), Thomas Myhand (Wendy, and Robbie Bean (Kathy); 3 sisters, Margaret Jones (Ricky), Lise’ Lindsey (Rickey), and Darlene Myhand Roberts; grandchildren, Bentlee, Lilly, and Kamri; former daughter-in-law, Cali Foster; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friend, Andrew Auxier.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Kelly Anderson and Tammy Myhand.
