Tim Murff

Timothy Gene Murff, 57, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center—Gilmore in Amory.  A lifelong resident of Monroe County, Tim was born on October 20, 1965 to Bobby Gene and Elaine Eubanks Murff.  He attended Hamilton Schools and began early on with a long career as an over-the-road truck driver, known on the CB radio as Little Chubby.  Tim liked the outdoors, whether it was mowing the yard, being out on the tractor, or in a deer stand; but above all, he loved the time he spent with his family.  He was a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bobby Cleveland and Marshall Eubanks, Jr. officiating.  

He is survived by one son, Nathan Murff (Monica) of Lackey; two daughters, Jessie Lee Murff of Westville and Noelle Miranda Murff of Lackey; sister, Kim Smith (Larry) of Westville; 4 grandchildren, Warren Fletcher, Elleck Faulk, John Kenan Murff, and Noah Asher Murff; nieces and nephews, Michael Dodds, Breanna Barnhart, Taylor Barnhart, Chris Mitchem, and Brandon Murff; a host of cousins; and numerous aunts and uncles.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Vicki Murff.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday.
