- Thomas Franklin Stacy, 76, passed away on September 3, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born in Belmont, Mississippi on March 21, 1949 to the late George and Neoma Oswalt Stacy. He worked at Glenn Manufacturing and Tecumseh for many years before retiring. He was a long time member of Amory Church of God of Prophecy where he was a pillar of the church and served as a Deacon. He married his soulmate, Amie Cates, in April 1969. He was a man of deep faith and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He enjoyed spending time with his family but most importantly he enjoyed talking about the Lord to everyone he came in contact with. Even on his death bed, he was still witnessing and praying for everyone who came into his room and praising God.
- Visitation will be Saturday, September 6 from 11-1 PM with Funeral Services following at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory at 1 PM with Bro. Charles Petty, Bro. Justin Myers, and Bro. Doug Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Paul Patrick, Mark Lochala, Stetson Lochala, Dean Allen, Ryan Allen, and Larry Rowell. Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Fulton, Thomas Forsyth, Hunter Stacy, Jimmy Fulton, Jason Keeton, Brady Slupik, and Butch Brown.
- Left behind to cherish his memories are his daughter Linda Fulton (Danny) of Amory, son Adam Stacy (Rachel) of Columbus, grandchildren Tyler Fulton (Sarah) of Hatley, Amber Forsyth (Thomas) of Jackson, TN, Madelyn Stacy and Hunter Stacy of Columbus, great grandchild Caroline Fulton of Hatley, sister Tina Duncan of Amory, nieces Kristi Kennedy (Brad) of Madison, Melissa Doublin (Kenneth) of Amory, Jody Smith (Ray) of Hatley, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
- He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 56 years Amie Stacy; grandchildren Dalton and Hannah Stacy; siblings Eva Harrison and Geneva Stacy.
