Dorothy Sue Taylor Warren, 81, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 in Monroe County. She was born on December 10, 1939 in Saltillo to Lee Nathaniel and Frances Dunaway Taylor. She attended Saltillo schools and helped work the family farm. She married James Warren on January 22, 1965 and she had worked in area manufacturing but was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ and loved to visit with family and friends. She like flower gardening.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Marshall Eubanks, Jr. and Bobby Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in the Mayfield Cemetery in Saltillo.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, she is survived by one son, John Lee Warren (Angie) of Red Bay, AL; one daughter, Louise Lawson of Galax, VA; one brother, David Taylor (Lisa) of Saltillo; and two grandsons, Cody Lawson (Gabrielle) and Jeremy Lawson (Mallory).
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Frances Ethridge and Rhonda Kay Wouldridge; and one granddaughter, Katie Warren.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Ethridge, Bill Ethridge, Bruce Ethridge, Eric Ethridge, William Rackard, and Bryan Wouldridge.
Visitation will be on Wedneday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
