Sherry L. Herron Magallon Burrough, 63, passed away at River Place Nursing Facility in Amory on May 3, 2025. Sherry was born in Amory on April 23, 1962 to Billy and Betty Smith Herron. She attended Becker and Amory School. in her earlier years, Sherry worked in the area garment industry before becoming a homemaker. She married Billy Burrough in 1996. Sherry was very talented with her hands and perfected her crochet work through the years making countless blankets to give family and friends. She was also very gifted with her drawing and painting abilities. Sherry loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a faithful Christian, loved listening to gospel music and attended Forward Church in Amory.
Sherry is survived by her mother, Betty Jean Herron, Amory; sons, Carlos Magallon, Amory, Jose Magallon, Amory, Juan Magallon, Amory, Jesse Magallon, AZ; step son, Jason Burrough, Amory; step daughter, Stacy Smith, Nettleton; grandchildren, Isaiah, Jullian, Alex, Jesse Noah, Consuelo and Sophia Magallon; step grandchildren, Chyenne Tackett, Chasity Smith, Hannah Burrough, CJ Burrough and Josiah Burrough; several step great grandchildren.
Sherry is preceded in death by her father, Billy B. Herron; husband, Billy Burrough; father to her children, Carlos Magallon; step daughter, Rhonda Windham; grandparents, Grady and Marrett Smith, Toll and Millie Moore Herron; great grandson, Carter Tackett.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Greg Huguley officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
