Shere Anderson

Shere Lee Hollaway Anderson, 66, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at NMMC in Tupelo. She was born March 26, 1960 in Tupelo to Bobby Lee Hollaway and Jean Hawkins Hollaway. Shere was a graduate of Tupelo and worked in retail sales security. Shere loved crafting and the hot glue gun was her best friend. She also enjoyed golfing in her younger years and loved all things Ole Miss, especially Ole Miss Football. Above all, Shere loved her family and was a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother and friend. She loved baking for her family and enjoyed every moment she could with her grandbabies. Shere attended Forward Church in Amory.

Shere is survived by her mother, Jean Hollaway, Amory; daughters, Morgan D Jackson (Mitch), Mathiston and Stephanie Walters (Collin), Greenwood Springs; sisters, Pam Stone, Amory and Cindy Allen (Greg), Amory; grandchildren, Marcus Brantley Redwine, Katlyn D Redwine, Ross Andrew Walters and Olivia Grace Walters; a host of nieces and nephews.

Shere is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Lee Hollaway.

A visitation for family and friends will start at 3 PM on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the family home of Collin and Stephanie Walters located at 50138 Riley Road Greenwood Springs, MS 38848.
