Shelia Allen

Shelia Lea Allen, 65, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at her home.  Born on August 27, 1957,  in Aberdeen, she was a daughter to Troy Lee and Elanor Smith Cantrell.  Shelia graduated from Hatley High School and later attended ICC.  She married Donnie Allen on May 20, 1981 and prior to her retirement, she worked as an EMT and as a nurse for United Furniture.  She was Pentecostal and loved shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.  

A private family service will be held at a later date.  

In addition to her husband, Donnie Allen, she is survived by three sons, Seth Allen, Conner Allen, and Trip Allen all of Amory; two daughters, Kelly Carpenter (Ray) of Greenville, SC and Leanna Rhinehart (Toby) of Georgia; one brother, Junior Cantrell (Becky) of Hamilton; one sister, Diane Taylor (Allen) of Hamilton; grandchild, Arden Carpenter; and special friend, Kammie Miller (Mike). 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Grady Cantrell; and a grandchild, Cain Rhinehart.
