Robin Frederick

Claves Robin Frederick, 62, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at the NMMC in Tupelo.  He was born in Amory on October 7, 1962 to the late Robert and Dorothy Sue Grimes Frederick.  Robin lived in Smithville his entire life, attending Smithville High School and later married Tammy McCoy in 1981.  A man that could fix anything, Robin's working career was as a mechanic or maintenance supervisor, lastly working at PSP in Fulton.  He was the go to person in the community if you needed something fixed and enjoyed spending time working his friends equipment.  He was a generous and kind hearted person who would do all he could for someone else.  When not fixing things, Robin enjoyed farming, doing anything on his tractor and hunting.  If Robin was outdoors doing something, he was happy and never let life's adversities stand in his way.  He loved spending time with his family and his greatest joy was being paw paw to Arlen.  Robin was of the Baptist faith and will leave a legacy of selflessness and generosity.  

Robin is survived by his wife, Tammy Frederick, Smithville; daughter, Heather Hewett (Nate), Columbus; son, Ethan Frederick (Kaylee); sister, Christy Robinson (Joel), Fulton; brothers, Ray Benton, Hamilton and Allen "Bear" Benton, Smithville; grandchildren, Arlen Hewett and Kalin Asadi; numerous nieces and nephews.

Robin is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sue Frederick.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Drew Gardner officiating.  Burial will follow in Maxey Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Carlos Walls, Phillip Branham, Chris Cowley, Allen Duncan, Justin Comer and Chris Edwards.  Honorary pallbearers will be Carnell Johnson, Jimmy Ritter, John Noe, Ricky Wright, Jerry Bennett, Mike Comer, Craig Jones, Rollins Turnage, F.B. Boozer, Lamar Standifer and Bo Stevens.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday from noon until 2 PM.
