Robert Earl Reese

Robert Earl Reese, 88, passed away at Diversicare in Amory on Sunday, April 27, 2025.  He was born in Aberdeen on December 29, 1936 to the late Terrell and Mittie Mae Gray Wolfe.  Robert was a longtime farmer for many years and loved to share his knowledge of farming and growing to his family.  He married Lillian Murl Stephens in 1959.  In his free time, Robert enjoyed fishing.  He also attended Antioch Baptist Church years back.

Robert is survived by his wife, Lillian Reese; daughter Shelia Howard, TN; brother, Thomas Reese, Grenada; grandchildren, Brandi Wheelington, Booneville, Kristy Ivy, Booneville, Amber Justice (Daniel), AR, Ladonna Reese, MS and Dalton Bright; 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by 3 daughters, Brenda Reese, Robbie Bright and Thelma Sue Poss; grandson, William Poss.

A Memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Minister Bobby Cleveland officiating.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 12 PM until 1 PM.
