Rick Howard

Richard "Rick" Allen Howard, 59, passed away at his residence in Hatley on October 28, 2026.  Rick was born in Amory on February 3, 1967 to Hubert and Nellie Ruth Holloway Howard.  Rick was a graduate of Hatley High School.  He married Laura Pugh on November 17, 1989.  Rick lastly worked as a long haul truck driver.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors riding horses, hunting and fishing in his younger years.  He also enjoyed visiting with friends.  To Rick, his family meant the most to him and he dearly loved time spent with them.

Rick is survived by his mother, Nellie Howard, Hatley; wife, Laura Howard, Hatley; daughter, Haley Howard, Hatley; son, Cory Cox, Vicksburg; grandchild, Lancey Howard; uncle, Reed Howard (Kay), Una, MS.

Rick is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Howard; brother, Donald Irvin; uncle, Roger Howard.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, October, 29, 2026 at Hatley Cemetery.  Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 PM.
