Richard Huffman

Richard Lynn Huffman, 60, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Oak Tree Manor in Amory.  He was born in Amory on September 17, 1964 to the late John and Carolyn Clark Huffman.  Richard attended Amory School and married Kathy Chism in 2006. Together he and Kathy loved being in the outdoors, especially riding 4 wheelers with their friends.  Richard retired from True Temper Sports.  More than anything he loved his family, especially visiting with his grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his children, Amber Huffman, Amory and Jordan Huffman, Amory; brother, Mike Huffman (Nina), Amory; grandchildren, Bella Grace Clayton and Avery Claire Burdine; niece, Laura Beth Vaughan (Matt); nephew, Kyle Huffman; great niece and nephew, Baily Grace Vaughan and Grayson Vaughan.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, John and Carolyn Huffman; wife, Kathy Chism Huffman.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2024 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Chuck Moffett officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  

Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday from noon until the service time at 2.
