Peggy Hall

Peggy Elois Hall, 57, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026.  She was born in Amory on June 23, 1969 to William B. "Charles" Hall and Betty Cavender Walls.  Peggy enjoyed listening to music, watching the Andy Griffith Show and Bewitched.  She also loved to cook for her family and taking care of her animals.  Peggy loved to spend time with her family.  Although she was born legally blind, she never let it slow her down from the things that mattered most in her life.

Peggy is survived by her mother, Peggy Walls, Nettleton; sons, Joseph Chavis, Amory and Josh Chavis, Nettleton; grandchildren, Jennifer Chavis, Destiny Chavis King (Aidan), Chloe Chavis, Noah Chavis, Cameron Chavis and Kenley Chavis; a host of cousins and friends.

Peggy is preceded in death by her father, William B. "Charles" Hall; daughter, Amanda Southern; brother, William "Bill" Hall, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Pastor Joe Sullins officiating.  Burial will follow in Hatley Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Joseph Chavis, Josh Chavis, Chris Manley and Patrick Forrester.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
