Nelson Breedlove, 75, passed away on July 25, 2026. He was born on November 8, 1950, in Richmond, Kentucky.
As a young man, his family moved to Hamilton, Ohio, where he graduated from Hamilton High School. He later made his home in Amory, Mississippi, where he worked in hospital administration, earning the respect of both his colleagues and the community through his dedication, kindness, and willingness to serve others.
Nelson was a man of many interests and talents. He had a passion for flipping houses and found great satisfaction in transforming them into beautiful homes. He also enjoyed restoring classic cars, collecting unique treasures, watching movies, and spending countless hours reading. A lover of books, Nelson generously donated a large collection from his personal library to a local library before moving to Amory, sharing his love of reading with others. Known for his warm smile and generous spirit, Nelson never met a stranger. He quickly made lifelong friends wherever he went and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His compassion and genuine care for others left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Above all else, Nelson cherished his family. He found his greatest joy in the time he spent with those he loved. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to live on through his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. Nelson will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Nelson is survived by his Sons; Craig Breedlove (Emily), Ryan Breedlove (Sibyl), Neil Breedlove (Jennifer), Sister; Linda Clayton, Grandchildren; Hannah, Ella, Graham, Evie, Robby, and a very special woman in his life; Juanita Bishop.
He his preceded in death by his Father; Henry Breedlove.
