Michael "Bubba" Foster

Michael Shane “Bubba” Foster, 45, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the NMMC in Tupelo. He was born in Amory on January 9, 1981 to Kenny and Patricia Foster Stanford. Michael attended Nettleton and Hatley Schools. While in school, he played and excelled in sports, especially football. Michael was a jack of all trades who could fix anything and no stranger to hard work, such as, working in the furniture industry, cutting trees and laying floor covering. Before becoming sick, Michael worked in Maintenance at Tecumseh. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and gardening, tending to his goats and chickens or just sitting and visiting. He was a devoted father and loved spending time with his children. Michael was a fixer and always tried his best to help others, even on some of his days that he felt the worst due to sickness. He was a man of strong and enduring faith, which was especially evident during his battle with cancer and other sickness. Michael was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church in Amory.

Michael is survived by his parents, Patricia and Kenny Stanford, Aberdeen; wife, Shannon Foster, Amory; son, Michael Cade Foster and his mom, Kayla Foster, Nettleton; daughter, Hallie Foster, Amory; sisters, Crissy Harmon (Andy), Amory and Michelle Stanford, Wren; brothers, Terry Gene Harlow, Amory and Rodney Stanford, Aberdeen; aunt, Dorothy Cummings, Amory; uncle, Bobby Foster, Aberdeen; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hal and Helen Foster and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Bethel Apostolic Church in Amory with Bro. Stanley Blaylock officiating. A private burial will be held in Haughton Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 5 PM until 7 PM.
