Mary Moore

Mary Sue Knight Woodham Moore, 69, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  She was born in Amory on March 28, 1957 to the late Earlan L.B. Knight and Edna Camp Knight.  Mary attended Greenwood Springs Elementary School and Hatley High School.  She went on to earn her RN degree from ICC.  Mary enjoyed her career in healthcare and worked at Gilmore Memorial Hospital, Care Center of Aberdeen and later retired from Gilbert's Home Health.  Her family was her world and she was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She loved to go to thrift shops and yard sales with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching crime and reality TV shows.  Mary had a keen eye for decorating and in her younger years she enjoyed interior decorating.  Mary also enjoyed being in the outdoors gardening.  She will be remember by those she loved as a caring and selfless person.

Mary is survived by her sons, Tommy Lee Woodham, Jr. (Tammy), Amory and Cory Woodham (Michelle), Amory; sister, Gloria Harris, TX; grandchildren, Alex Woodham, Chandler Woodham, Logan Hall, Luke Hall, Mason Woodham, Matthew Woodham, Brandon Chaney, Kyle Chaney and Destinee Booth; 12 great grandchildren; niece, Shilo Harris, TX; nephew, Michael Harris, TX.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husbands, Tommy Woodham and David Moore; daughters, Mandy Hall and Angela Moore.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory.  Burial will follow in Blaylock Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Michael Harris, Luke Hall, Logan Hall, Chandler Woodham, Matthew Woodham, Brandon Chaney and Kyle Chaney.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday Evening from 5-7 PM.
