Martha Frances Stanford

Martha Frances West Stanford, 89, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. Born October 19, 1928, she was a daughter of Eron and Betty Gann West. She grew up in Hamilton, attended Hamilton High School, and married William J.L. Stanford in 1949. As a homemaker, she raised her four children, but was always on the go and ready to go anywhere especially bingo or to the casino. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Chuck Moffett officiating. Burial will be in the Center Hill Cemetery. Survivors include 3 sons, Jerry Stanford (Pam) of Amory, William David Stanford of Kenosha, WI, and Jeff Stanford (Kristy) of Hatley; one daughter, Patricia Carol Perrault (Jerry) of Smithville; one brother, Donnie West of Aberdeen; two sisters, Hazel Sue Peters of Aberdeen and Patsy Lundquist of Aberdeen; sister-in-law, Betty West of Hamilton; 11 grandchildren, Christopher Stanford, Carrie Card, Jason Perrault, Tiffany Daniels, Matt Stanford, Stephen Stanford, Nikki Reeves, Hunter Stanford, Dustin Edmonson, Ryan Perrault, and Evette Rowley; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special bingo friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eron and Betty Gann West; her husband; three brothers, Eron West, Jr., Leroy West, and Bill West; and sister, Mae Moeller. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Lynn West. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at clevelandmoffettfuneralhome.com
