Luke Tubb, 35, died on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Monroe County. Born June 21, 1980 in Amory, he was a son of Cliff Tubb and Lisa Moffett Tubb. He married Heather Marshall.
Growing up in Becker, he was a graduate of Hatley High School Class of 1998 and attended ICC. Loving anything that would go fast, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers. One to keep things neat and in their place, he always dressed to the T and loved keeping his car detailed. He loved his family especially his children and always lived life to its fullest and enjoyed listening to all types of music. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was employed as a machinist at NACCO in Sulligent.
Survivors include his parents, Cliff and Lisa Tubb of Becker; Wife, Heather Tubb of Smithville; 3 daughters, Cameron, Paige, and Harley Tubb, of Becker, Step-daughter, Kirsten Cooper, Smithville; one son Heath Tubb, of the home; stepson, Cole Cooper (Linsie), Hatley; one brother, Alex Tubb, Becker; 2 sisters, Lori Sloan (Nathan), Amory, Amanda Jones (Brian), Amory; one step grandson, Carson Cooper; Grandparents, Donnie Ray Moffett and Barbara of Becker, Jean Tubb, Becker; Great Grandmother, Christine Moffett, Becker; Niece, Alba Jones and Shae Sloan; Nephew, Silas Sloan, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his, grandfather, Russell Tubb; uncle, Warren Tubb; aunt, Amanda Tubb.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Justin Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Trinity Baptist Church Men’s Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 5-8 PM.
