Lois Kendrick

Lois Ramona Kendrick, 71, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Amory. She was born on December 4, 1953 to C.B. and Jeweline Byrd Cook Smith. Prior to her retirement, she was a self-employed care giver. She loved crafts, working puzzles, decorating for the holidays, and cooking. Before her health declined, she attended the Tupelo Church of God. 

She is survived by one son, John Scotty Suggs, Jr. (Christy), Pontotoc; daughter, Christy Michell Hawkins (Johnny, Jr.), Amory; one brother, David Smith; sister, Arbetha Zrzesicky, Tampa, FL; and 4 grandchildren, John Dawson Suggs, Silas Reed Hawkins, Rylee Grace Suggs, and Breanna Janae Hawkins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Inex Jackmon, and Antonette Summerford.
