Johnny Dale “Hollywood” Tubb, 47, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, in Tunica County. He was born on May 28, 1974, in Amory to J.T. Tubb and Sherian Webb Humphreys. Johnny Dale was a graduate of Hatley High School Class of 1992. For a number of years, he worked in the area furniture plants until becoming a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, loved music, playing pool, and most of all he loved family. He was baptized at Christian Chapel Church in Amory.
He is survived by his father, J.T. Tubb (Cheryl) of Coral Springs, Fl ; his mother, Sharian Humphreys (James) of Smithville; one daughter, Morgan Elizabeth Tubb Spot of West Point; grandparents Dorothy and Cleve Hall of Nettleton; sister, Crystal Easter of Smithville and stepsister Tara; his niece Harley Ray; nephew Austin Easter, and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was proceeded in death by grandparents Grace Carter and William Webb/Charles and Elois Humphrey; aunt Linda Worthy, and uncle Doyle Worthy.
A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Minister Bobby Cleveland officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 5 PM until 6:45 PM.
