Janie Dixon

Janie Pearl Dixon, 65, died on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. Born on October 27, 1952 in New Albany, she was a daughter to M.C. and Daisey Mae Little Alexander. She married Gary Lynn Dixon and took great pride in being a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Jimmy Webb officiating. Survivors include her husband, Gary Dixon of Amory; one son, Joseph McDonald of New Albany; one daughter, Kim McDonald Herrod of New Albany; one brother, Curtis Crumpton of Winfield, AL; 3 sisters, Betty Williamson of New Albany, Linda Bumgartner of Winfield, AL, and Carol Dozier of Haleyville, AL; 5 grandchildren; and nieces, Lee Ann Cook and Angie Robinson.
