Jamie Theron Tomlin, 43, passed away on October 2, 2026, alongside his mother Diane Motes, as the result of an automobile accident. Jamie was born in Amory on June 11, 1983 to the late Charles Tomlin and Diane Motes. Jamie attended Smithville School. He worked in residential construction. Jamie enjoyed listening to music and watching TV. He loved to talk and visit with others, never meeting a stranger and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jamie was a member of Made For More Ministries in Plantersville.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Brandi Tomlin, Nettleton; children, Dayton Tomlin, Braxton Tomlin, Charles Tomlin Bunn and Madilyn Allred; brother, Dominic Muhlenbruch, Smithville; sisters, Crystal Way and Daisey Tomlin; close friend, Haley Jo Hardison; special friends, Scott and Melissa Simonson, Amory; Brandi and John Montgomery, Kristen and Steve Bunn.
Jamie is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Tomlin and Diane Motes.
Funeral Services for Jamie and Diane will be held at 3 PM on Monday, October 5 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Martin, Bro. Kevin Malone, Sister Shea Malone, Bro Steve Bunn and Bro. Vincent Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in New Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dewayne Rinehart, Scott Simonson, Steve Bunn, Dominic Muhlenbruch, Samson Buckner and Chris Holley.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday from 1 PM until 3 PM.
