Jacky Richardson

Jacky Richardson, 70, passed away on Tuesday evening, March 22, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on March 10, 1952 in Tupelo to the late Dick and Corrine Estes Richardson.   Jacky was a lifelong Nettleton resident and attended Nettleton School.  He married Judy Barnes on October 5, 2000.  Jacky worked for 27 years at Action Lane as a supervisor.  After he retired, he and Judy were self employed remodeling mobile homes.  Everyone who knew Jacky will remember his easy going, generous, kind and humble spirit.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, working in his flower beds and most of all, being with his family, especially Audri and Briceson.  Jacky was a faithful and devoted Christian.  He enjoyed reading his Bible everyday, and worshipping with his church family at Bigbee Baptist Church. 

Jacky is survived by his wife, Judy Richardson, Nettleton; children, Allen Richardson (Tonya), Mooreville, Joseph Richardson (Crystal), Nettleton, Briceson Richardson and Audri Doss; sister, Glenda Hendrix (Bobby), Nettleton; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend, Doris Richardson. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Easter; brothers, Larry Joe Richardson and Doug Richardson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Bigbee Baptist Church with Bro. Justin Haynes, Bro. Ben Johnson and Bro. Rob Sargent officiating.  Burial will follow in the Richardson Family Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jeremy Patterson, Dewayne Burroughs, Blake Richardson, Lance Richardson, Cason Cox and Brad Stanford.   Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Basham and Darron Hendrix. 

Visitation will be Friday evening at Bigbee Baptist Church from 5-7 PM and will continue on Saturday from noon until the service hour at 1.
