Glenn Gray

Charles Glenn Gray, 66, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at his home in Amory. He was born on December 6, 1958, in Bartow, FL to Charlie Lynn and Juanita Vick Gray. Glenn grew up in Becker where he attended Becker School. For many years, he worked in construction most of his life and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and listening to music. He was a member of the Amory Church of God.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Eddie Shelton officiating.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Gail Gray; two sons, Charlie Glenn Gray, Jr. (Rachel), Becker and Thomas Gray (Miranda), Amory; two daughters, Jackie Whitman Tyra, Amory and Michelle West (Ricky), Amory; grandchildren, Makayla Gray, Eva Gray, Emma Gray, Bradley Gray, Lauren Gilmore (Connor), Brandon Gray (Emma), Devon West, Ricki West (Jeremy), Austin Jackson (Kerrington), Brandon West, Katie Reynolds, Aaron Morris, Makayla Pearson, C.J. Jones, Bryson Gray, and Serenity Gray; 10 great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Georgia Russell; and best friend, Jeanette Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Anita Gail Zimmerman; brother, Tony Lynn Gray; son-in-law, Neal Tyra; 2 great granddaughters, Brynlee Holley and Baby Gilmore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Gray, Thomas Gray, Brandon Gray, Charlie Gray, Devon West, Cecil Jones, Connor Gilmore, Jeremy Morris, Anthony Gray, and Nathan Gray.

Visitation will be on Thursday from noon until the service hour.
