Frances Roberts

Frances Kay Strawbridge Roberts, 54, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the NMMC-Tupelo.  She was born in Amory on November 25, 1970 to the late Lealon and Mary Cowart Strawbridge.  Frances attended Amory School and married Monty Roberts on June 17, 1988.  She was a devoted wife to Monty and mother to their children and enjoyed each day as a homemaker.  She worked alongside Monty when they owned the drive in theater in Amory.  If you knew Frances, you knew that her favorite past time was to shop.  She loved shopping, buying the latest trinkets and gadgets, especially for her grandchildren, children and friends.  Frances was all heart and an extremely generous person who sought to brighten the day of all she knew.  Frances was a faithful friend that could always be counted on.  In her earlier years, she attended Bigbee Baptist Church.  

Frances is survived by her husband of nearly 37 years, Monty Roberts; sons, Brandon Easter, Athens Community, Ken Roberts, Amory, Wesley Roberts, Amory and Jared Roberts (Anna Catherine), Smithville; brothers, Mike Owen (Ginger), Amory, Steve Strawbridge (Leigh Anne), Amory and Julian Strawbridge, Amory; sister in law, Kim Tipton (Jerry), Splunge; brother in law, Neil Roberts, Aberdeen; grandchildren, Khylie Easter, Axel Roberts and Levi Roberts; special friends, Marty and Chrystal Parker; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Braylin Easter and Bentley Easter; sister, Becky Ray; brother, Houston Owen; grandparents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Mr. Bobby Cleveland officiating.  

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
