Charles "Charlie" Nix

Charles “Charlie” Nix, 86, passed away on July 28, 2026. He was born on March 28, 1940, in Winfield, Alabama, to Columbus and Pearlie Vaughn Nix. Charlie attended Hatley Schools and was a faithful attendee of Bigbee Baptist Church. He worked in the furniture industry for many years, where he used his creativity and talent to design furniture. A devoted fan of Ole Miss athletics, he enjoyed following his favorite teams through the years.

Above all, Charlie treasured his family. His greatest joy in life came from spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought endless happiness and pride to his life. His memory will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Charlie is survived by his Wife; Mary Joyce Nix, Son; Randle Nix (Leann), Daughter; Tina Hall (Johnny), Grandchildren; Chanda, Chassie, Brittany, Derek, Tanner, Great-Grandchildren; Alex, Ali, Haley, Bryleigh, Krissy.

He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother.

A graveside service will be on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Haughton Memorial Park with Bro. Chuck Moffett officiating.
