Carol Ann Parker, 65, passed away on August 30, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1960, to Charles and Mary Price Ballard. Carol was a member of New Vision Worship Center, where she enjoyed fellowship and worship whenever she was able. She had a love for fishing, watching football—especially her Ole Miss Rebels—and cheering on her son as he played in cornhole tournaments, often following along on livestream.Before becoming disabled, Carol worked as a cashier at several local establishments, where she was known for her friendly smile and kind spirit.Above all, Carol was devoted to her family. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, who were truly her pride and joy.She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.


She is survived by her Mother; Mary Ballard, Son; Douglas Parker (Lisa), Godson; Andrew West (Bridgette), Daughter; Kayla Hester (John), Brother; Roger Ballard (Cairl), Sisters; Sarah Hathcock (Harold), Penny Pilgrim (Jim), Melissa George (John), Grandchildren; Breanna Parker, Payton Parker, Matthew Parker, Adrianna Gray, Chelsey Gray, Rachel Gray, Jeremiah Hester, Kolton Hester, Sophia Hester, Great Grandchildren; Camden Wayne Parker, a host of nieces and nephews, and a Special Friend Blain Bush (David).


Carol is preceded in death by her Father, Charles Ballard, Special friends; Harvey and Tessie West, Grandparents; Clarence (Buck) and Faye Ballard, Ados and Ollie Price.


Funeral Services will be held at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory on Sunday September 7, 2025 at 3 p.m. with Bro. John Blackwell officiating. A committal service will take place at Haughton Memorial Park following the service.

Visitation will be from 1-2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.


Pallbearers will be Harold Hathcock, CJ Hathcock, John George, Alex Scott, and David Bush.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Payton Parker, Matthew Parker, and Andrew West.
