Bobbie Brummel

Bobbie N. Brummel, 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory. She was born on December 28, 1937 in Pontotoc County to Robert Louis and Lucille Conlee Brown. She moved with her family as a child to Aurora, IL then to Somonauk, IL. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Western Electric/AT&T. She was heavily independent and an avid conversationalist. She was also a member of Somonauk Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be held at a later date under the direction of Nelson Funeral Homes of Yorkville, IL. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home is assisting the family locally.

She is survived by one son, Brooks Dorian Brown of Peoria, IL; three daughters, Melissa Renee Gibson of Yorkville, IL, Robbin Hill of Wren; and Melody Nanzer of Earlville, IL; two brothers, Terry Brown (Maria) of Shipshewana, IN and Keith Brown (Shirley) of Horn Lake, MS; one sister, Betty Quarzenski of Elgin, IL; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Heaven just got Brighter! I will dearly miss you. You were like a mom to me and my cousins.You were a trainer to my aunt Janice that worked with you at AT&T. You also would come to our house on Rosewood in Aurora and bring me your homemade bread and sit for hours talking to Granny. You did not discriminate and should our family much Love! We love you and will miss. your presence. I now you and granny my mom Janice are have a big joyous reunion. I no our Father in heaven said Job well done Bobbi. You lived you lived life well. You raised my brother Brooks well and your Daughters and taught them all how to make it in this life. Thank you Mrs Bobbi for giving me great moments of your life.
