Billy Joe Sullivan

Billy Joe Sullivan, 51, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center- Gilmore in Amory.  He was born in Amory on October 11, 1973.  Billy Joe attended Nettleton Schools.  He worked in the area furniture industry and lastly as a self employed painter.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors and fishing.  He loved his family and adored his grandchildren.  Billy Joe was a lover and follower of Christ.  He attended the 99 Church in Nettleton.

Billy Joe is survived by his father, James Sullivan (Patricia Gail), Amory; daughter, Amber Doyle (Nathan), Nettleton; sisters, Gail Petty (Richard), Nettleton and Amanda Norton (Daniel), Kansas; brothers, Allen Sullivan (Michelle), Nettleton, Terry Sullivan (Tina), Nettleton, Dale Sullivan (Tammy), Nettleton and James Sullivan (Brooke), North Carolina; grandchildren, Colby John Doyle and Cami Doyle; a host of nieces and nephews.  

He is preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Kimble Sullivan; grandmothers, Jessie Kimble and Ida Pearl Sullivan.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory.  Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Dale Sullivan, Terry Sullivan, Allan Sullivan, Rodney King, Joe Sullivan, Tony Carroll. Honorary Pallbearers will be his Brothers in Christ. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the funeral home from 5-7 PM.
