Ann Robison Knight

July 30, 1940 — February 28, 2024

Smithville

Annie Faye Robison Knight, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2024 at Whitesburg Gardens in Huntsville.  She was born in Monroe County to Edgar Arthur and Mary Elizabeth Silas Robison.  She was a graduate of Smithville High School.  Ann was a daddy's girl growing up, with a total devotion of caring for her family.  Ann would say her two greatest accomplishments in life were her children, Greta and Daniel.  With a selfless and forgiving heart, Ann believed and lived by the motto of, "Doing good to others and it will come back around one day."  Her faith in Jesus was her strength with encouraging her daughter and grandchildren, Kyle and Madison, "give all your worries to the Good Lord above, he'll take care of them."  Consistently being seen doing yard work along with planting flowers, Ann was most fulfilled being on her lawnmower and making sure the birds and squirrels were being fed.  She and Daniel loved going to town to see old friends weekly, and enjoying random picnic lunches with Kyle and Madison at the Amory waterway eating their Domino's Pizza and Diet Cokes.  Ann loved the Lord with being a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Amory.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Harvey Coplin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Turon Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Greta Gregory of Huntsville, AL; 2 grandchildren, Kyle Watts of Tupelo and Madison Jordan (Clint) of Albertville, AL; great grandchildren, Jaxx Sanders, Aubree Sanders, Remi Joy Watts, Channing Jordan, Bellamy Swanger, Barrett Swanger, Easton Jordan, and Baylor Jordan; and favorite nephews, Boyd Duncan and Ricky Robison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Daniel Gregory and siblings, Willie Mae, Varnell, Thomas, Russell, Elsie, Melba, Charles, Mary Francis, and Dimple; and favorite niece, Mary Ann Irvin and her husband James.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Watts, Clint Jordan, David Irvin, Dayton Hipps, Greg Watts, and Roger Swindle.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 until the service hour.
