Amanda Harris

Amanda Renee Harris passed away on August 3rd, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Amanda was a devoted wife to Eddie Harris and a proud mother of four children: Melissa Reynolds, Madalyn Nix, Makenna Harris, and Allen Stephens. She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Montana Reynolds and Steve Nix. She adored her grandchildren, Canyon Reynolds and Case Reynolds, who brought her endless joy and laughter.

Amanda is preceded in death by her beloved daughter April Latham, her son Kayden Harris, her father, Ronnie Don Taylor and grandparents Norm Terrell and Christine Tripeny.

She is survived by her loving mother and stepfather, Anita and Steve Wilhelm, and her sisters: Sheila Reed, Kristy Lewis, and Carmen Martin.

Amanda had a passion for reading books, listening to loud music, and attending church. Christmas was her favorite holiday — she found peace and beauty in the glow of holiday lights and the joy of the season. Some of her fondest memories were spent by the lake, watching the mated ducks—a quiet, tender reminder of her forever mate, Eddie. Her warmth, spirit, and love will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her memory will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Greg Huguley officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Aberdeen.  Pallbearers will be Richard Reed, Montana Reynolds, Steve Nix, John Harris, Jason Harris and John Hall.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until 12 PM.
