Just days short of his 70th birthday, AL went home to his Fathers house.
AL was born and raised in the Wren community. He had a fierce love and sense of protection for his friends and family. When his health declined nearly 17 years ago he moved in with his sister Fran and her husband Jimmy.
He led a very peaceful and comfortable life. He loved nature rides on the Ranger and sitting with his good little dog, Spooky, on the porch. From having a cigarette in the gazebo to watching cowboys in his recliner, his life was simple and quiet.
AL was known and cared for by many people. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle and a friend. As I write this I’m reminded of Lazarus being loved by his sisters Mary and Martha. AL was loved and taken care of by his sisters, Fran and Dorothy. His quiet presence will be missed.
Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. Lamentations 3:32.
Private family services will be held later.
