Bradley Kyle Riggs, 26, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at his home in Amory. Bradley was born on November 6, 1992 in Tupelo to Kim Michelle Wigginton Floyd and the late Mickey Darren Riggs. He grew up in Amory and was a 2011 graduate of Amory High School, later attending Highlands College, but earned a welding degree from Delta Technical College in Horn Lake, MS. For Bradley, family was first and foremost in his life having a great time being with them especially his nieces and nephews and it was no secret that he was a mama’s boy. He had a contagious smile, a beaming personality, and was the main attraction of a crowd. He enjoyed a good joke and he possessed one of life’s greatest gifts of being able to make people laugh. With a competitive spirit, Bradley was an avid sports fan and loved to play softball and golf always trying to outdo his siblings and friends in any activity. He enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. Bradley was a member of Cornerstone Family Fellowship where he was very active in the youth group. Funeral services for Bradley will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Cornerstone Family Fellowship with Bro. Greg Huguley officiating. Burial will follow in the Haughton Memorial Park. He is survived by his mother, Kim Floyd (David) of Olive Branch; one sister, Heather Golding (Zack) of Amory; 4 brothers, Austin Riggs (Bayley) of Saltillo, Chandler Riggs of Amory, Tyler Riggs of Tupelo, and Tanner Herring (Stephanie) of Columbus; 3 step sisters, April Ratliff (Matthew), Sara Floyd, and Kelsey Floyd all of Saltillo; grandparents, Mark and Carlene Hixson of Southaven, Patricia Riggs of Tupelo, and Billy and Mavis Riggs of Nettleton; aunts and uncles, Brian Hill of Plantersville, Stephanie Mask (Michael) of Southaven, Brian Riggs (Anna) of Tupelo, Mike Riggs (Alice) of Winfield, AL, and Lisa Riggs of Pontotoc; nieces and nephews, Peyton Benedict, Emerson Riggs, Kipp and Izzy Golding, and Lincoln Herring; many, many cousins; close friends, Ryan Hill and Isaac Parchman and a host of others. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Carl and Darlene Hill and Big Momma and Big Daddy Majors; uncle Terry Riggs; and special friend, Kyle Thomas. Serving as pallbearers will be Isaac Parchman, Ryan Hill, Tanner Herring, Caleb Mask, Channing French, and Dustin Parker. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Family Fellowship and will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
